Tacky Farmer Girl was established back in 2015. \u00a0We started out by selling used Horse Tack and t<\/span>hat’s how we came up with our name Tacky! \u00a0Along with <\/span>herbs, flowers, farm fresh eggs & some produce plus tons of vintage goodies at our local flea market. \u00a0The market has since closed so now we are entirely an online store.<\/span><\/p>

We launched<\/span> our Etsy Store in 2012 — we plan to still keep it open but have always dreamed of having my own online presence especially to support wholesale orders!<\/span><\/span><\/p>

One of the best things about supporting the Tacky Farmer Girl is that it helps support our Mini Farm!<\/span><\/p>

How I became me ..<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I was always a country girl at heart. \u00a0I definitely was a huge animal lover! \u00a0I use to tell my Mom “One Day I am going to have ALL the Animals I want!”<\/p>

My Dad’s Grandpa .. Grandpa Cassious Clanton (yep, we are related to the Clanton Gang of the Old West) was a horse trainer & rancher and his horse ranch was located in the city of Cerritos, California .. if you know the area — it’s now the Cerritos Mall. \u00a0My Dad spent many days there on the ranch as a teenager. \u00a0<\/p>

My Grandma Louise, my Mom’s mom, was an avid gardener & chicken raiser.<\/p>

My Dad was a really good entrepreneur creating his many small businesses and Mom was very crafty and she taught me how to crochet, sew and craft.\u00a0<\/p>

It only makes sense .. I would become the Horse & Chicken loving Krafty Tacky Farmer Girl!<\/p>

I was born & raised in Southern California moved to Southern Alabama in 2014.<\/p>

I love Hearts & anything about LOVE \ud83d\udc95\u00a0<\/p>

Photographer since 2000 — photographing dragonflies & butterflies are one of my fav subject!<\/p>

I love paper crafting, stamping, sewing & book binding.<\/p>

I love growing herbs & working with essential oils. \u00a0Lavender, Basil & Rosemary & Camomile are my fav.<\/p>

I love watching seedling’s grow in the garden. I love growing Basil & Luffas.<\/span><\/p>

Sunflowers, Dandelions & Magnolias are my favorite flower.<\/p>
