Tacky Farmer Girl was established back in 2015. We started out by selling used Horse Tack (that’s how we got our name Tacky!) as well as herbs, flowers, farm fresh eggs & some produce plus tons of vintage goodies at a local flea market but that wasn’t for us .. so now we are entirely an online store.

I was always a country girl at heart. I definitely was a huge animal lover!
My Dad’s Grandpa .. Grandpa Cassious Clanton (yep, we are related to the Clanton Gang of the Old West) was a horse trainer & rancher and his horse ranch was located in the city of Cerritos in California .. if you know the area — it’s now the Cerritos Mall. My Dad spent many days there on the ranch as a teenager.
My Grandma Louise, my Mom’s mom, was an avid gardener & chicken raiser.
My Dad was a really good entrepreneur creating his many small businesses and Mom was very crafty and she taught me how to crochet, sew and craft.
It only makes sense .. I would become the Horse & Chicken loving Crafty Tacky Farmer Girl!
I was born & raised in Southern California moved to Southern Alabama in 2014.
I love Hearts & anything about LOVE 💕
Photographer since 2000 — photographing dragonflies & butterflies are one of my fav subject!
I love paper crafting, stamping, sewing & book binding.
I love growing herbs & working with essential oils. Lavender, Basil & Rosemary & Camomile are my fav.
I love watching seedling’s grow in the garden. I love growing Basil & Luffas.
Sunflowers, Dandelions & Magnolias are my favorite flower.

I started making cards back in the early 90s and always dreamed of making a business of it .. I love working with all types of paper, rubber stamping and book binding.
